I have used many leather padfolios over the last 40 years from Buffalo leather to the finest top grain cowhide both domestic and foreign. I bought this padfolio as a gift for a very good friend's 80th birthday. Wasn't sure of the quality until it arrived a couple of days ago. The quality of the the leather and the detail work makes this one of the best I've seen. I plan to order another for myself.
I wanted a simple, elegant, real leather portfolio with a zipper -- understated but high quality. And that's exactly what I got. It's a real treat. Everything is as advertised. I was even concerned that it would only fit A4 pads, but no, it fits routine 8 1/2" X 11". it's all just perfect. I'm a leather buff and I can tell this leather is very good quality.
